1st day of college lost and scared, I I almost forgot, Hi I’m Gelan Mahmoud,
saw a campaign for those interested and I’m delighted to invite you all
to try Pharmacy in a diferent country, to take a leap of faith, apply for this
I said to myself “ I have to apply, that’s wonderful opportunity, and create
my chance to experience something your own story! Who knows, maybe
new. Maybe I’ll like pharmacy more one day you will love this place so
and get to make new international much that you will invest your time in
friends. This is the chance that I can’t helping others feel the same joy!

And I did, though after two years from Gelan Mahmoud Mohammed
that day, I did participate in IPSF’s Student Exchange Committee 2019-2020.
biggest long-run project, The Student International Pharmaceutical Students
Exchange Programme AKA ‘SEP’. Federation
SEP was my door to IPSF and to loads
of self-improvements and professional
growth.

I landed in Zagreb, Croatia with
curiosity and excitement, and I left
with a professional pharmaceutical
internship, lifelong friendships, and the
best vacation I can ever ask for. SEP is
a program where you can experience
everything! The beauty of the
destination, the great unforgettable
time with the multicultural group,
Pharmaceutical knowledge, and most
importantly FOOD!

After SEP, I knew that I have loved
this experience from the bottom of
my heart that I wanted to help others
to create the same great memories
I had created, and there my journey
with SEP and IPSF has started,
and now, after almost two years of
ranking in positions to help improve
SEP in my country and one year
of being a member of the Student
Exchange Committee, I’m with honor,
will be serving IPSF as the Incoming
Chairperson of Student Exchange
2020-2021.
